  • EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage)

We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, which sets the standards for the learning, development, and care of children from birth to five years old.

The EYFS is structured around key areas of learning, which help children develop the skills they need for school and life.

Prime Areas
  • Communication and Language
  • Physical Development
  • Personal, Social and Emotional Development

Specific Areas
  • Literacy
  • Mathematics
  • Understanding the World
  • Expressive Arts and Design

School Readiness

We carefully plan activities and learning experiences that support children to become confident and ready for their transition into primary school. We help children to:

  • Recognise and write their name
  • Develop early reading and writing skills
  • Understand numbers and counting
  • Build independence and self-care skills
  • Follow routines and instructions
  • Develop confidence, friendships, and communication skills

Our aim is to ensure every child leaves us feeling confident, capable, and ready for the next stage of their learning journey
